URGENT APPEAL: Trade Unionists Under Attack in Ukraine

 

The Right Sector fascist movement has begun an unprovoked attack on trade unionists in the Ukrainian cities of Kiev and Odessa. They have burned the trade union headquarters in both cities. In Odessa 38 people have died and the number of deaths is rising. Some were burned and later died from their injuries after being forced to crawl in the street by the fascists, and some were trapped inside and died from smoke inhalation. The US Friends of the Soviet People calls on all trade unionists to call on their unions to demand that the violence against their fellow workers in the Ukraine cease immediately, and that the United State immediately withdraw its support for the illegal Ukrainian fascist regime.
