June 28, 1918---This day in revolutionary history

On June 28, 1918 the revolutionary government of the Soviet Union adopted a decree that nationalized major industries in the country. This was an act to deprive the capitalist class the benefits of the wealth that they exploited from the working and poor people.

The wealth generated from these enterprises was then used to transform one of the most backward and poorest regions in the world into a society with a well-developed and advance economic system.

Imagine what can be done in the United States with an abundance of wealth created by the working class.
