February 1 marked the beginning of #BlackHistoryMonth and we were remiss in not taking a moment to remember and thank Marsha P Johnson and all the LGBT African Americans who have stood up and made the #LGBT community what it is today. We haven't reached the finish line yet, but thanks to activist like Marsha P Johnson, we are closer today than we have ever been.
